My oldest daughter came to visit us from sunny Arizona this past week. She got to meet her brand new sister for the first time. And I got to enjoy the fabulous rare treat of having all my kids together at once. It was so very much fun hanging out with my young adult daughter & having conversations together. She's such a mature, thoughtful & interesting young lady! And of course much laughter was shared amongst us all. A week goes by much too fast. She is on an airplane right now, heading back to 100 degree weather. The day she arrived had been 92 degrees in her home town! I told her that it hadn't reach 50 here in quite some time. Her desert bones were chilled. But she's not a complainer & jumped right in for barn chores & cow milking.
Me & my little miss 4 week old.
My half dozen really wonderful kids. <3
Breastfeeding Little Miss out in the wind yesterday with Mister Always Entertaining.
I like this picture. I'm out nursing a baby on what appears to be the prairie, skirt blowing in the wind, and toddler handing me a flower he'd just picked for me. <3
Oldest Daughter hanging out with Gertie.
Making cottage cheese.
And cow milking!
Sisters born 20 years apart, saying hi to each other.
Speaking of nonstop laughter... We were all walking back from the barn. Mr 2 year old asked Mr 13 year old brother to hold his hand. Mr 13 year old brother says, "Sorry but I can't hold your hand right now, I'm holding Edgar. But you can hold Edgar's hand!" So they started holding Edgar's hands, er hooves, and walking back to the house that way.
