Trying to catch up here. Like most of you, we've had a crazy-busy Christmas season! I had wanted to post these a few weeks ago. Better late than never. :)
Our big snow had melted. We were expecting more any day so we decided to take the kids on a walk through nearby countryside. It was so pretty outside with that late Fall shine. And so many fun things to discover- frozen creeks, animal bones, wildlife tracks. Plus sticks, of course. Boys always need a good stick for beating things with. The frozen waters, the trees, the grass, invisible coyotes.
Hangin' out with Brother.
Misc. animal bones of unknown origin. Cool!
Yummy for dogs!
I love this photo. It would make a good header photo! Except, oh wait, it's not Fall anymore. Bummer.
We were following a trail made by deer, coyotes or both. The tall grass was all laid down and there seemed to be wide sleeping areas where a herd of some creatures had lounged. You can see a trail leading up to and all around this bush up the hill. Why do they circle that bush like that? Who knows! Perhaps that's what coyotes do for fun. Woohoo! For a good time, circle the scraggly bush all night! It's like a disco partay!
Pretty pretty Fall time.
Cool! What creepy crawly lives in there?
